Danco Builders of The Danco Group of Companies is looking for an experienced Superintendent for a job in the San Jose area. This individual will need to have a history of accomplishments running a job site, and be able to complete projects on budget and on schedule while maintaining positive relationships with our customers.
Responsibilities:
☐ Actively solicits business opportunities through contacts and industry knowledge
☐ Understands the requirements of the Contract Documents
☐ Ensures that workmanship conforms to the contract requirements and company standards.
☐ Receives annual education on current OSHA rules and Regulations and conveys this information to employees (during weekly safety meetings) and Sub-Contractors (through daily site safety inspection).
☐ Responsible for the Gross Profit of assigned Projects.
☐ Maintains practices that support DANCO's Purchase Order policies and limits.
☐ Maintains a good driving record.
☐ Holds the project start up and close out process
☐ Complete projects on budget and on schedule
☐ Manage submittal and approval process
☐ Review scopes/buyout of subcontractors and passes over to Project Administrator for contracting
☐ Maintain quality control (integrity and excellence of complete project)
☐ Anticipate tool and material needs a few days in advance of need for crew
☐ Implements safety program on the jobsite
☐ Accompany injured employees to urgent care or emergency if accident or injury occurs
☐ Administer drug test if crew member is injured or in an accident
☐ Ensure Certified Payroll Reports are submitted to the customer timely
Daily:
☐ Oversees the daily activities of the project
☐ Open and closing site in coordination with Crew Leader
☐ Manages work flow per project schedule
☐ Schedules inspections by proper inspection authority as required.
☐ Schedule: Defines tasks, task duration and relationship between tasks for use in CPM schedule preparation.
☐ Implements Injury and Illness Prevention Program on the job site. Works for No Injuries.
☐ Prepares daily logs
☐ Prepares schedule updates
☐ Prepares as built drawings
☐ Writes RFI's and maintains RFI Log.
☐ Organize weekly meetings for subcontractors.
☐ Responsible for the security of assigned Project Sites to include material, equipment and all other aspects.
☐ Initiates Proposed Change Orders
☐ Responsible for the ordering and delivery of material and equipment to the job site.
☐ Conduct bi-weekly Owner Meetings
☐ Maintain change order management & documentation
☐ Manage payment process to get paid for all work
☐ Supervise documentation of all significant project events (i.e.: tracks accidents, delays, and change orders)
☐ Keep MSDS information up-to-date
☐ Purchasing & Tasking
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
