Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas is currently accepting applications to fill a part-time
Concierge position. This position will vary from 1-3 days per week with the
possibility of a full-time position in the future.
Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas is a luxury pet hotel conveniently located near the
airport. We specialize in dog and cat boarding, daycare, and spa bathing services.
We are currently looking for an experienced, motivated, high-energy individual to
join our team of pet passionate employees.
The concierge team member is responsible for providing exceptional customer
service to clients and guests. Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
*Greeting clients and guests as they enter the hotel
*Checking guest in and out of the hotel following hotel protocol
*Review guest activity services, feeding instructions, and medications (as
applicable) thoroughly during the check-in process and entering the data
accurately into the hotel system
*Recommending activities based on the guest breed, age, and temperament.
*Setting up guest room and locker with property
*Safely and securely escorting guest to their room
*Creating personalized medical style chart for guest
*Check guest out of the hotel ensuring charges are accurate based on services
rendered
*Provide a detail synopsis of the guests stay to client
*Answer any questions client may have regarding the stay
*Complete concierge team tasks as assigned (photo email/text updates, bring
guests to the concierge area for TLC time)
*Participate in team cleaning activities at closing
Please apply if you possess the following skills:
* Prior shelter, kennel, or hospital experience strongly preferred, or equivalent
education i.e. vet tech or veterinary sciences program
* Prior customer service experience required for all concierge positions;
exceptional communication skills are a must. Please complete recording portion of

* Pet passionate, above all always looks out for the health, safety, and welfare of
all animals
* Can handle dogs/cats of all sizes, not easily intimidated
* Able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and some holidays
* Detail oriented and driven to maintain a neat, clean, and organized work
environment
* Multi-tasker, motivated self-starter, and can work in a fast-paced environment
* Trustworthy, upholds the highest level of integrity
* Punctual and willing to stay late if needed
* Self-aware, takes constructive feedback to improve own performance
