Position Summary
Project Managers are trusted with the responsibility of managing home renovation projects from start to finish. This includes making sure the budget, timeline, and scope of work are in alignment from the beginning of the project and then managed well during the course of the project. Project Managers also work with the design team, vendors, and tradespeople to make sure accurate information gets quickly to the parties that need it. Lastly, communication must also be maintained with homeowners and agents including regular status reports and email and/or text responses to inquiries. The team at NurtureSource provides training and support to make sure Project Managers are poised for success. Project managers will need to be on a consistent path of improvement in order to provide the customer experience we are dedicated to delivering.
Job Description:
- Plan, initiate, and manage construction projects, including organizing and scheduling subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
- Meet each vendor onsite at the commencement of their prospective scope. Provide them with all necessary information and layouts in order for trades and vendors to execute the work according to our design standard, building codes, and timeline.
- Ensure projects are completed according to outlined scope, budget, and schedule.
- Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and senior management.
- Coordinate and oversee all onsite activities to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Manage project budget, track expenses, and minimize exposure and risk on projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that arise during construction.
- Maintain and foster client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality of work, and safety measures.
- Provide updates and status reports to homeowners and/or agents in order to keep them informed of the progress. This includes any changes to timelines and pricing.

- Site Visits: Regularly visit project sites to oversee progress, inspect work, and ensure adherence to plans. Requires walking, standing, occasionally handling physical materials or equipment,and occasional climbing of stairs or ladders.
- Meetings and Communication: Attend meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project teams. Involves sitting, standing, and walking between different locations within an office or project site.
- Safety Oversight: Ensure safety protocols are followed by physically inspecting work areas, equipment, and practices to identify hazards and enforce safety measures.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document project progress, issues, and decisions. Involves typing, writing, and organizing documentation over extended periods.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction project management, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Proficient in creating, maintaining, organizing Google docs (especially Sheets).
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
- Ability to evaluate what is considered good quality work and safe work practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual salary range: $110,000-$140,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- 1 week of paid vacation per year, possibly increasing it to 2 weeks per year following the completion of the first annual performance review
- 7 paid holidays per year
- Vehicle Stipend
