As a Regional Interior Designer, you will be responsible for developing fully executed model homes from conception to installation. The position requires an ability to be multi-task oriented, self-sufficient, dependable, ability to cope under pressure, maintain good judgement, eager to learn and have a professional, supportive attitude.
Your Responsibilities On The Team
- Develop conceptual design presentations and can take a project from conception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Complete full specification packages (including space plans, material selections, and elevation details) for model home projects.
- Prepare detailed documentation for construction and procurement.
- Attend design presentation meetings, frame walks and final model walks.
- Purchase, track and maintain inventory of model furniture.
- Assist Merchandising Manager and Director on special design projects as necessary.
- Manage project costs and provide final budgets to Merchandising Manager.
- Attend Design Presentation meetings, frame walks and final model walks as necessary.
- Assist in coordinating delivery and installation schedules of model furniture.
- Attend model installations and direct installation crews and design assistants, addressing any discrepancies or issues as needed to maintain design integrity and a successful project execution.
- Stay abreast of current design trends and practices; attend industry trade shows as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 4-7 years of Interior Design background or related experience required.
- Bachelor of Arts degree preferred.
- Proficient in CAD, Photoshop, In-Design, Excel, Word and PowerPoint on Macintosh platform.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and ability manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Excellent work ethic, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Copes well under pressure and can accept constructive feedback.
- California Motor Vehicle License – unrestricted. Moderate regional travel (including overnight trips and flights) required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.

General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:
We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an annual salary of $66,560.00 - $80,944, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
