Summary
Able work unsupervised and is responsible to lead a crew on. This position is responsible for pulling cable, terminating station ends, head end rough in, and other job related tasks. The position may also work on larger projects with greater complexity as needed and able.
Responsibilities
-Accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction. Acts as our customers best service provider at all times thereby ensuring Techsico is the customers first choice for service. Takes ownership of onsite project including safety, quality and performance. Observes and practices Techsico Quality Standards
-Basic ability to read and understand blueprints, design drawings including wiring and labeling methods, system wiring, wiring methods, and cable support installation (J-Hook, Raceway, Conduit, Cable Support). Familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted, may require assistance with more complex specifications
-Basic construction skills and understanding of system plans
-Be able to take assignments and carry them out without supervision. Able to establish and run pathways, rough in and pull cable, terminate station ends
-Developing ability to meet device installation guidelines per specific discipline (voice/data, alarm, audio/ video)
-Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.)
-Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
-Provides basic installation assistance to other Tech I, Tech II
-Provides exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted
-Works closely with customers and internal colleagues in providing technical installation support and training. Refers more complex issues to more experienced colleagues. Interprets manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
