Production Operator
Carlsbad California
6 month initial contract
Shift Hours: 5:30am-2:00pm
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
Orion Group is seeking an experienced Production Operator for our global medical manufacturing client in Carlsbad, CA.
Production Operator job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Follow batch records for the production of microfluidic consumables including fill reagents into bottles, packaging, kitting and labeling
- Record all work performed on the appropriate document per procedures
- Bring any safety and production issues to the attention of the supervisor
- Perform cleaning, sanitization, assembly/disassembly of equipment and production work area.
- Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Maintain a safe, pleasant and efficient work environment
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned
Education and Skill Requirements:
- 3 or more years of manufacturing experience in a chemical/ pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with GMP practices.
- Mechanical experience with manufacturing machinery and the aptitude to disassemble and reassemble parts.
- Ability to use computer software: SAP, ERP, HMI vision software.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand up to 8 hours at a time
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $20.50 per hour
