Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packaged accurately and efficiently, adhering to all safety and quality standards. This position requires mechanical knowledge and familiarity with FDA regulations, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and package products according to company specifications and FDA regulations.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment to fabricate packaging materials as needed.
- Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) throughout the packing process.
- Conduct quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency in the packing area.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the packaging process, utilizing logical problem-solving skills.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, following all safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for operating equipment and troubleshooting issues.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP practices is a plus.
- Experience using hand tools and forklifts is highly desirable.
- Ability to understand and interpret logic controllers for operational tasks is beneficial.
- Start date Friday, December 6
- SHIFT Friday-Tuesday (Wed and Thurs Off)
- 4:30am-1:15pm OR 5:30am-2:15pm MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK BOTH SHIFTS
