Survey Analyst
Full-Time | Riverside, CA
Salary: $75,000 – $90,000
We are seeking a Survey Analyst to support survey data processing and mapping for land development, construction, and infrastructure projects. This role supports field crews and project managers by transforming field data into accurate survey deliverables.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in surveying, civil engineering, or construction
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center (Bluebeam and MS Office preferred)
- Strong understanding of survey principles, boundary analysis, COGO, and construction staking
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and quality-control skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Process field data and perform QC checks for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and review CAD survey drawings (boundary, topo, ALTA/NSPS, subdivision, as-builts)
- Perform calculations for boundary analysis and construction staking
- Conduct closure calculations and resolve field data discrepancies
- Interpret civil/architectural/structural plans to support field and PM teams
- Prepare legal descriptions, plats, and survey exhibits
- Ensure compliance with applicable survey codes and standards
