Job description
Orion Group is hiring two Scientists to work with our global Pharma client in South San Francisco, CA. The position will be a 6+ month initial contract. This position is responsible for formulating liquid and lyophilized protein therapeutics, preparing formulation and assay buffers, as well as containers and closures to support pharmaceutical development studies. The individual will learn analytical assays, protein formulation characterization techniques and stability testing. He or she will be responsible for analysing data, interpreting results and noting significant deviations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining oversight of day-to-day laboratory activities, managing inventory of raw materials and drug product packaging, as well as documenting and retrieving scientific data in electronic lab notebook.
