Corporate Real Estate Team provides services associated with new worksites, office expansions, office renovations, and relocations. CRE's services include real estate leasing and negotiations, space and furniture planning, design, construction, information technologies integration, and coordinating workspace purchasing. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee national tenant improvement projects from design through construction. This role involves managing ancillary vendors, including furniture, structured cabling, graphics, move-management and others. The Project Manager will collaborate with the corporate office, local management and the transaction team, to facilitate communication among landlords, architects, engineers, construction professionals, IT teams, and third-party vendors. This position requires occasional traveling within the continental U.S. and a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities On The Team
- Partner with the local office’s management team (the client) from the start of each project to define project scope and objectives.
- Review tenant finish plans and construction documents to ensure alignment with pricing.
- Develop and manage preliminary and final project schedules and budgets, including furniture, move-management and tenant improvement costs.
- Track project budget and schedule to meet goals, approving change orders as required.
- Conduct site visits to oversee construction progress and ensure compliance with drawings and project documents.
- Interpret lease work letter for adherence to terms, dates, budget, and building rules & regulations.
- Coordinate construction activities with general contractors, landlords, and third-party vendors.
- Lead weekly project meetings with General Contractor, any Landlord project management representative and other project team professionals to review:
- schedule, budget, scopes outside general contractor work such as low voltage installation, security including access controls, audio visual equipment installation, etc.
- RFI, Submittal and Change Order Logs.
- Address emerging issues.
- Administrative duties, including invoice and pay application approval, requisitions for tenant improvement reimbursements, lien releases, etc.
- Move-management including disposition of current office furniture and equipment.
Your Toolbox
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Project Management, Interior Architecture, or Design.
- 5+ years project management experience in the Corporate Real Estate arena, preferably in Project/Construction management or coordination.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and plan sets.
- Business process skills including budgeting and forecasting, business model development, performance management, transactions, and cost management.
- Construction knowledge and cost estimating skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills.
- Outstanding communications skills with requisite gravitas to deal with C-level executives.
- Ability to adapt to and overcome internal and external challenges.
- Adapt to and overcome cultural and technical challenges.
- AutoCAD proficiency and some ability to create architectural designs based on customer input and feedback.
- Microsoft Project or other PM software proficiency.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
