Hazard Construction is a longtime San Diego based General Engineering Contractor, specializing in heavy civil construction. We are currently seeking a Senior Estimator with 10+ years of experience in road improvement estimating and project management.
This position requires technical experience in Mass Excavation/Remedial Work/Structure Excavation & Backfill, AC Paving, Underground, and Concrete Structures. Familiarity with Caltrans public works specifications and bidding is a must. Strong crew based estimating techniques, as well as an ability to interpret cost data and systems is essential.
The ideal candidate must be proactive, detail oriented, analytical, organized, an innovative team player and able to meet established deadlines. Hard Dollar and Primavera P6 scheduling software experience are a plus.
All Hazard Construction positions require satisfactory completion of a physical ability test and clean drug and alcohol screening.
